Yeah! I am 36 weeks today! I never thought I would make it this far! I am very blessed! Many prayers and a long time on bedrest have gotten this baby a long ways! Was up a lot last night starving to death and eating many snacks! I think this baby was wanting to become a 10 lb baby overnight :) Going back to work tomorrow night and I am very excited to be able to do that! Baby Cox will be here soon too and I can't wait to meet him!

The Story Behind "Chuckie"

I have had many people ask why the name "Chuckie" for our little guy, so I decided I better tell the story behind this. We are planning on naming him Caden but are not going to decide for sure on the name until he is born and we see him to make sure he looks like a Caden. I asked Justin one day what we were going to name him if he wasn't a Caden. He replied "Chuck." He had been watching a lot of the TV series "Chuck" recently. I decided that "Chuck" was not a good nickname for a little baby and changed it to "Chuckie." The nickname stuck:) Also, to give you a less scary visual image of "Chuckie", I don't think of the doll in the horror movie when I call him that, I think of the character on the Rugrats with the big glasses and red hair:) We don't plan on calling him "Chuckie" after he is born:) Most likely he will be Caden:)

I had a Dr. appointment in Des Moines today. I am 34 weeks and 5 days now. We got to see baby "Chuckie" in an ultrasound again. He is very cute and has a lot of hair. He is 5lb 1oz now. His head was measuring big this time but Dr. Drake said she thinks it may be because he has dropped and the measurements weren't as accurate. She thinks I will deliver before next month's appointment. I can't wait to see him and hold him in my arms! :) I posted new pictures along the side of my blog page.

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Baby "Chuckie" Cox. His due date is Feb. 10th but have been on bedrest since Oct. 19th because of contractions. We already think he has got quite the personality. He is a very active baby and have got to see him do many cute things on ultrasound. He is just under 5 lbs and a very long baby right now. He has the cutest chubby cheeks in his ultrasound pictures. We can't wait to meet him!
